Weixuan factory, supplier of industrial brushes, has announced its new 80-knot cutback Twisted Knot Wire Brush Wheel. The new brushes incorporate heavy-duty features and are used for angled removal of three or more layers of coating from pipe ends.
A wide face Twisted Knot Wire Brush Wheel is positioned parallel to the pipe’s central axis and peels off the coating in one operation.
The our factory Cutback brush is used worldwide to remove coating at the end of the pipes, independent of whether the coating is high (HD), medium (MD) or low
density (LD), polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PPN).
The Cutback brush system performs three operations in one. The pipe ends are cleaned, coating is removed and an angle created on the edge of the remaining
coating. Plastic bonded (PB) wheels on both sides of the brush are responsible for the bevelling operation on the coating and cleaning the ends of the pipe.
Costs are kept to a minimum due to the long life of the product and the short processing time. An internal Cutback machine manufacturers offer different brush systems to take off the coating.
As the entire brush face width matches the desired cutback length this operational set-up is considerably more effi cient, faster and longer lasting.

This special brush completes the three steps in the process of standard coating removal simultaneously.

The brush cleans the pipe edge, removes the pipe coating and grinds the coating angle, all at one time.
- This brush preparing the coated pipes for welding. The 1/2-inch thick coating has to be removed from the pipe end and leave an angle so that when welded together the pipe can be properly recoated to prevent corrosion,
- This special brush makes that long process much quicker and efficient.
- The 80-knot cutback brush is made with ultra-high-density spring wire for heavy-duty applications such as pipe coating removal. It is available in custom arbor hole/keyway dimensions.
