The abrasive filament strikes the part at a perpendicular angle. The filaments are forced up and over the burrs and their cutting energy is transferred directly to where it’s needed. The abrasive filament is more efficient to use rather than other deburring methods because of its selfsharpening capabilities. Any solution starts with abrasive filament material, grit, size and several other options which also allow our factory to engineer custom designed abrasive filament brushes.​

Using maximum-density yet flexible bristles, these wheel brushes can deburr complex components without manipulating their shape. Firmly cast in place and impregnated with abrasive grit, the nylon bristles will not break off even at high speeds and produce a strong, consistent brushing effect due to the high proportion of abrasive grit they contain – which means burr-free, smoothly ground surfaces plus an exceptionally long service life and controllable wear behavior. Garant disc brushes are particularly well suited to wet machining and are compatible with all measuring head and combination face mill adapters. If required, they can be adapted specifically to suit specific needs.
